Six year old, 15.1h Buckskin Racking Horse gelding. This beautiful boy spent his life riding all over the mountains of East Kentucky and Virginia and is an excellent trail horse. Rio's breeder raised this nice gelding right and only gave him up due to full siblings ready to start and not enough room for them all. Great manners, sweet and willing. Recommend an intermediate rider as Rio is still getting used to more "industrial" happenings around Florida neighborhoods etc. Super quiet on the trail. Self loads, parks to mount/dismount, stands quietly to mount, excellent with his feet, fantastic smooth 4-beat gait on an easy rein. Bred with Rowdy Rawhide bloodlines and has the potential to rack faster than the average gaited horse if that was desired.

This special homozygous colt is meant for somebody who appreciates a horse with foundation work, good training and intentional breeding for a versatile riding partner. Dakar will be 2y/o in March and will be SO easy to start under saddle whenever his owner is ready.
My limited breeding program aims specifically for level headed, willing, friendly and flashy horses with quality bloodlines. With only one foal bred each year we are able to prioritize gradual handling and training from birth. Dakar’s groundwork has already progressed beyond what many riding horses have. This has made our horses confident, willing, fun to work with plus easier and safer to train. Estimated to be 14.2-15hh. $6900

Born April 3, 2025. This talented filly is a full sibling to my stallion Digger's Mischief Managed aka Pharos. Both are sired by the talented and loved "The Gravedigger" a speed racking World Champion. Their dam is a multi World Grand Champion producer that also throws fantastic temperaments and color on her foals.
Phoenix's full brother Pharos has won two World Grand Championships, many State Championships, multiple Best of Show trophies, and has several other achievements. Pharos is considered by many to be a top competitor in the Country Speed Racking division.
I'm convinced in the right hands that Phoenix could accomplish as much or more than her brother - and that's saying something!

Very trusting and willing to follow you in new tasks. Comfortable around large loud trucks. Enjoyable to work with. Catcher's first ever show was at the FWRHA where he took the Weanling/Yearling Florida State Model Championship. The rest of the day he stood tied to the trailer quietly and calmly - sometimes with another horse and sometimes by himself. Not in any hurry to sell this colt as I'd love to work with him as he gets older. Not mounthy and doesn't act like a stud. Could be gelded at buyers expense.
